Family Engagement Consulting: Partner with schools to enhance family engagement by including families in decision-making to create school environments where all children thrive.
Culturally Responsive Professional Development: Provide training for educators on inclusivity, equity, cultural awareness, and strategies to enhance family engagement, with a focus on recognizing and valuing diverse family voices to create equitable and inclusive school environments.
Equity Audits: A comprehensive evaluation of school policies, practices, and culture to uncover systemic inequities impacting students, families, and staff, laying the groundwork for measurable improvements in student outcomes, family engagement, and school culture.
Mothers Advancing Goals in Education and Communities (MAGIC): These focus groups amplify the voices of Black mothers in research and educational decision-making by providing a platform for Black mothers to share insights, experiences, and priorities, informing policies and practices that promote equity and inclusivity in education for all students.
Policy and Curriculum Development: Provide expert guidance from a parent’s perspective on developing culturally relevant, inclusive, and equitable educational materials and policies. This service highlights the impact of policies and curriculum on families, emphasizing the need to incorporate diverse perspectives to create environments that celebrate diversity, address systemic disparities, and foster strong family-school partnerships. By ensuring all students have access to high-quality, culturally responsive education, schools and districts can strengthen engagement and equity for all families.
